There are two full time high school counselors at Brent International School Manila.  Students at BISM are assigned to counselors based on their surnames.  However, the guidance office has an open door policy meaning that at any time, any student is welcome to speak with any of the two counselors. 

The counselors are responsible for students throughout their four years of high school.  This format was chosen with the view that students and families will be able to develop a relationship with their counselor throughout their high school years.

It is important to get to know your counselor and to allow your counselor to get to know you.   Even if you don’t have anything you necessarily want to speak to a counselor about, it is a good idea to stop by on a regular basis to chat.

We are here to help you as you make your decisions about higher education and hope you will stop by frequently so that we can work effectively together!
