Girls Soccer Rules
Rules: FIFA rules shall govern the games, except, as modified under these rules.
- All ISAC games will consist of two 25minute halves with a 5-minute break at the half.
- Teams can warm up at Field #3 and should be at the playing field at least five (5) minutes before their scheduled game time. Should a team fail to be on the field at the designated time they will forfeit the game. No game will start before the scheduled game time.
- The team listed first on the schedule is designated as the “Home Team” and should wear light.
- The host school will provide official game balls.
- There shall be unlimited substitution through the 4th official on a dead ball when the subbing team has possession. (The opposing team may also legally substitute at the same time.)
- A red card issued during any game will also make the player ineligible for the following game.
- Any player who is given a red card for violent conduct will be ineligible for the team’s next two games.
- In the regular round-robin play draws will stand.
- Winning teams will receive 4 points, teams drawing will receive 2 points, loser 1 point and no point will be awarded for a forfeit.
After the regular round-robin play places will be determined by the number of accumulated points. Ties will be broken using the ISAC Tiebreak procedure.

- Points allowed in games between tied teams
- Point differential in games between tied teams

In the Semi-Final round the 1st place team from the round-robin will play the 4th place team and the 2nd place team will play the 3rd place team. Winners play for the championship; losers for 3rd.
If there is a draw after normal time, the semi-final will be decided by a penalty shoot-out. There will be no extra time period.
The play-off game for Third Place will follow the round-robin rules, except, if there is a draw after normal time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shoot-out. There will be no extra time period.
The Final Game will run as a normal game. If the final game ends in a draw, two full five minute extra periods will be added and a penalty shoot-out will take place if the draw has not been broken. (If there is no daylight left for extra time periods the penalty shoot-out will take place right after full time—to be determined by the officials and Site Coordinator).
