A far-reaching emotion-filled four days on the "magic mountain" - this was the Centennial Weekend! In the words of an '89 graduate, "It was a surreal experience! I need the time to soak it all in!" One other regarded it "a roller coaster of excitement, joy, and nostalgia with a hankering desire to hold on to the exhilarating moments". Yes, as Dorothy Richardson states in our school song, our "magic mountain" truly is " ... where youths of many nations lived their golden hour, sharing work and aspirations time will bring to flower"!
A SALUTE to all who planned, contributed to, prepared for, implemented, and participated in the various activities of the Centennial Weekend ... and more so to all who came and got involved! We were honored! Accept our endless appreciation and gratitude!! Thank you very much! The four days with the Brent Community Spirit soaring at new heights certainly provided an added dimension to one's being a Brentonian!
Cheers!

… 300 plus in person and many more in spirit were with us for the Centennial Homecoming Weekend!
Little did we realize four years ago when we began the planning for the Centennial how many folk would be ‘touched’ along the way and the impact this wonderful event would have on so many of us.
I personally have corresponded with some of the most diverse and wonderful friends along the way, and for four emotion filled days had the honor of meeting a lot of you, and sharing your laughter, tears of joy and a rainbow of emotions as so many were reunited on our ‘magic mountain’ we will always call home: Brent!
By now you will have come to realize the written word is not my forte so I shan’t torture you too much longer…suffice it for me to say to so many who have been involved over the years in our multifarious work, to those who contributed photographs, editorials and shared their stories and memories helping us to understand and ‘feel’ days past, to those who so wanted to but were unable to join us and sent their messages…and to EVERYONE who was able to join us in making this the event the wonderful success that it was…a humongous whopping gigantic THANK YOU!!!
Best wishes and God Bless,
