News Update

Junior Girls Volleyball Update

It was another great weekend for JV girls’ volleyball with the MANSAC tournament being hosted by Brent last Friday night.  FAITH and ISM arrived and the games began after 4pm. 

The JV girls went to work, first on ISM.  It seems that all the hard practices are paying off as the Lions demolished an improved ISM team. Great serves gave us point after point. Setter Jordan valley led the way with 4 aces and 10 consecutive serves. Fiona Faulkner, Misha Buensuceso and Annie Kim also did a great job in serving.

The entire team passed well and therefore our spikes were brilliant.  Misha dominated in the middle with 15 successful spikes with 6 kills.  Annie added 3 kills to her stats. Rachel, Dani, Klarizze and Fiona also helped their team out with many attacks. Clarisse Cucueco and Yoon–Ah were solid as well with their spiking.

The Brent girls won in straight sets to chalk up their 3rd win in this Mansac tournament.

In game 2 against FAITH, the attacks continued!  Misha, Annie, Klarizze, Fiona and Yoon–Ah Kim all got involved.

Glady’s Lucas did her part too.  Roma Hemlani went 4 for 4 for a 100% spike success rate.  Terrific offensive power!!!

On the service end, Klarrizze Posadas and Dani Delos Reyes contributed to service points.

The JV girls MANSAC record is now a perfect 4 wins and 0 losses.  Keep up the good work team!!!
